Do-It-Yourself & Template Wills
There is a big DIY movement afoot in the United States these days, and for the most part this is a good thing. It can be a lot of fun to make home improvements, take on landscaping projects, fix up or restore cars, tailor your own clothes or engage in any other do-it-yourself project that may be of interest to you. The trick is to recognize your limits and make sure that you know where to draw the line. There are some jobs that most people can indeed tackle for themselves after doing some research, and there are others that are simply better left in the hands of professionals.
One task that fits into that latter category would be that of drawing up your will. To put it in the most general of terms, a will must pass through the process of probate. A probate court will examine your will and attest to its validity, applying the laws of the state to make this determination. Probate lawyers here in Nevada know the laws that are specific to the Silver State, so when they assist their clients they know exactly what the probate court will be looking for when the will is being evaluated. So if you write out your wishes in your own words it may not be valid, and even if it is technically valid it is very likely that it will be open to challenges. The verbiage must be completely unambiguous, and it must also allow for contingencies. The layman would have no reason to have an understanding of these legal intricacies.
The templates that you can buy online are not a viable solution either for a number of reasons, but perhaps the most glaring shortcoming would be the fact that they are not specific to any particular jurisdiction. The appropriate format for a Nevada will is going to be different from that of a will that is going to be going through probate in Vermont or the Virgin Islands.
The small amount of money that you save by drawing up your own will or filling in the blanks on a generic form that you download from an Internet marketer’s website really doesn’t justify the risk you are taking. Your legacy is too important and the stakes are too high to be penny wise and pound foolish when it comes to your will.

If you use microsoft office I would start there. They have many free templates available to download. Another source that may help is www.sba.gov . I hope this helps

Hinsdale-Clarendon Hills Elementary District 181 will conduct kindergarten registration March 17 and March 18 for children who will be attending kindergarten beginning in August 2011. Parents may register at their neighborhood schools between 9 a.m.-3 p.m. on these days.
