Castle in Batangas or Tagaytay Philippines?
When I was younger there was this proposed theme park with a Disneyland type castle called Fantastic castle somewhere in Batangas or Tagaytay. However the real estate never fell through but the castle was built and even used for some shooting for TV fantasy based soaps.
I plan to visit the Philippines sometime this year and would like to know if this place still exists. What is it called and if its open for public viewing.

It is Fantasy World, and it is within Lemery, Batangas. Your reference to Tagaytay stems from the fact that most people who go there go via Tagaytay. From Tagaytay, you just turn left at the Nasugbu ‘arko”, on the way to Canyon Woods. Past Canyon Woods, about 15-20 minutes more by car, you will see this castle to your left.
I have checked this place several times as I go around. The first time, i was offered membership. Cheap, but I did not find it attractive. I did not find the company developing the property to be stable, and I feared that my investment will amount to nothing. They were talking about building several condominium units to function as hotels where investors will be on a time-share basis. Last time I passed this place, there is still nothing. And to think that the offer was made to me something like 10 years ago.
Nowadays, people can have picnics within the premises at a fee. You can climb the bridge going up a watchtower, a treehouse, etc. Kids might still enjoy this make-believe place. But there is nothing beyond that.
